About The Go Girls Foundation

Embrace Wealth maintains a longstanding association with the Go Girls Foundation, an organisation established in 2008 with the mission of supporting women at risk to create a vision for their future. We actively support the foundation by sponsoring various Go Girls events throughout the year, contributing proceeds from our own hosted events, and conducting educational sessions with groups of women at risk. These efforts are aligned with the objectives of the organization’s Step Up and Go Program, aimed at empowering women.

In 2024, Embrace Wealth are sponsoring the Go Girls 100-Kilometer Challenge, an initiative designed to raise funds for the foundation. This challenge involves teams of ten individuals from each participating Girls School engaging in a continuous relay to cover a distance of 100 kilometres. Further details about this forthcoming event can be accessed here.

Here are some of the Go Girls activities we’ve been involved in over previous years:

December 2023 – Steven and Lee attended the Launch of Go Girls 100KM Challenge. Embrace Wealth are Silver Sponsors of this event, with the inaugural event to be held on 17th October 2024.

October 2023 – Embrace Wealth sponsored the Go Girls Foundation Golf Day where more than $20, 000 was raised at the Foster Golf Club to fund a South Gippsland Program in 2024. Here, Lee and Steven photographed in the Local Sentinel Times Paper in South Gippsland.

April 2022 – Lee Nickelson hands over the proceeds of our annual Golf Day to Rita Bottomley and Michelle Jobson from Go Girls.

Embrace Wealth attend the Go Girls Graduations every year and have developed a close and positive relationship within this community:

“Steve and Lee bring a positive energy to all of our events and are professional in all their dealings with all those they come in contact with. They have mentored many of our women, and have supported our programs each year. They are inspirational role models and leaders in our community” – Michelle Jobson, CEO of Go Girls Foundation.

June 2017: We supported the Go Girls Foundation via their Go Girls Night Out on May 19th. $20,032 was raised for their Step Up and Go Program.
